A guy I used to work with spent a month in the hospital because of a moose. he was finally taking a vacation after 3 years and was driving from Winnipeg to ThunderBay Ontario. That stretch of the Trans-Canada highway is one of the loneliest places in Canada. He it a moose head on doing about 70. The car was totalled, and he spent a month in the hospital.
