Always learn new skills. Don't put all of your eggs in one basket. I love CF and would love to do it the rest of my career in one form or another, but I would be doing myself, and the people that work beneath me, a huge injustice if I didn't learn new things. CF is not going away and I think is the future of web design. I think with MM having it, they are in the best position to integrate front-end and back-end effectiveness and will make the web experience so much better. People with front-end and back-end skills will be in huge demand. Right now the economy is still dragging itself out of recession but it is coming out of it, and I think that companies put new projects and new technologies on the back burner for awhile now and that will really start to change. They are going to want to update and upgrade apps that are now considered "out of date."
hang on, it's going to be a fun ride :-D!!
