Defense Disagreements Gave the point to Biden. He said the he doesn't like to use the word surge but asked for more troops. The commander of NATO's International Security Assistance Force Gen. David D. McKiernan said that there were principles of the surge strategy, including working with tribes, that could be applied in Afghanistan. Killing Afghan Civilians "ALL we're doing in Afghanistan is air-raiding villages and killing civilians." They stretched real far to try to justify that and failed. Clean coal. They're defending Biden for an outright lie.
