Have you tried a laser light? That's how I got Marley to drop a little weight. Marley loves to play fetch. Even if I'm sitting in bed, working on my laptop, he'll get the ball, jump up on the bed, give it to me and then continue to bring it back to the bed every time I throw it. This allows ME to be lazy and him to get some exercise. :D lol

I see so many people just let their Maine Coons get fat, because they like big cats, and want them to just be as big as possible, but it's not healthy for them, in fact because they tend to be heavy-boned already, it can really cause joint problems with the additional stress if they like to climb and jump, etc. I have to keep my cat on a pretty strict diet as he is a total food hound, he'll steal my dog's food, treats, etc. whatever he can get into.
