pretty much the entire country is over-extended. this mess has been building
for years, and all of a sudden everyone is surprised that we're in such a
pickle. unfortunately, unless we radically change the game in dc, we're
going to end up right back in the same place with social security and
medicare funding.

medicare i actually have a little hope for because there are huge
opportunities for productivity gains in the medical and insurance
industries. social security is a ticking timebomb.
