Early showers for everyone, no more mud!

I want to know who is going to be in charge if Obama wins. You will have a
Democratic troika in Washington, DC - Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry
Reid. Who will be running the show?

That is why I am so concerned about Obama's disappearing act during the
financial meltdown. I see him as thoughtful, deliberate, and passive- and
that's not a good thing with two experienced politicians like Pelosi and
Reid in charge of the House and Senate. I fear that they will railroad Obama
on the legislative agenda, especially if they get a veto-proof majority in
the Senate. Basically they will pass whatever they want to pass and dare
Obama to veto it. Will he? I don't see it.

You have been arguing for some time now for divided government. Now more
than ever, we need divided government to keep both sides honest with the
gigantic pile of taxpayer dollars they have appropriated to get us out of
this financial mess. Without a check on the power of Democrats in Congress,
I see us going much deeper into the hole until the next Congressional
election cycle gives people a chance to restore the balance in Congress.
