I don't support doing anything to prevent a private company from growing. I look at a company like GM and see a company that has been in a malaise for twenty years. Until its pension obligations are resolved, it will never be competitive with Toyota. Should we bail it out or let the market take care of it? I would prefer to see market solution- selling off assets, breaking up the company, and ditching the pension obligations it can't afford.
