MSI K7T Pro2

The MSIs are decent MBs. I just happened to be lucky enough to get one that
crapped out durring the burn-in phase. It was the 3rd MSI board I've had.

The first still powers my Linux box, no probs. My second is being used by
my dad to run his 1.3 Ghz system with 1 Gig of RAM. It's still humming
right along. The K7T Pro2 got a good review from sharkyextreme (8.5).
While not quite as fast as some of the other boards, the aditional features
such as Live Update, ATA 100 IDE controler, built-in RAID 0 and 1 IDE
controlers, and FuzzyLogic III, with its real time over clocking feature,
still make it a good buy for the money.

All 3 of them have been rock solid stable. I currently have my FSB raised
from 133 Mghz to 146 Mghz which overclocks my CPU by 160 Mghz, the PCI clock
by 3.2 Mghz, and the AGP clock by 6.5 Mghz and the system hasn't even
blinked. The chasis temp. has only gone up 1 F on average and is still well
under the 140 F redline. If I got a case with better ventalation, I could
probably raise the FSB even more.

Even though one crapped out on me, I'd still recomend an MSI board for those
who want a pretty good price to performance ratio.

Here's the URL to sharkey's review of the one I have now:
