I've counted three who you might be able to call anti-American if you stretch the definition so that anti-Israeli equal anti-America. Is three more than a few?
Are you accountable for the political stance or actions of all of your clients, co-workers or friends? Is there any evidence beyond his acquaintance with these people that Obama is influenced by them in any way? Are they currently advising him? Writing his platform? Will they have jobs in his government? Is he still in bed with them the way McCain is with the religious right? I think not. I'm not selecting a President based on guilt by association, but if I were, McCain's associates scare me more than Obama's. Do you think there will be place for Jews in the United States if the radical Christian dominists have their way with our government? Are you conversant with the theocratic agenda of the religious right? Do you know that members of Joel's Army, which is closely associated with Sarah Palin, believe that Jesus will not return until they control the US government, and that any one who opposes them should be executed? And I know you think I'm only saying McCain did worse. Well, yes, because to me, McCain did worse, and if we're going to have the discussion about Obama's associates, then McCain's are fair game. His close association with the members of radical Christian right puts anyone who is not a member of one of the groups at peril. BTW, my post about Arocena still hasn't shown up on the list.
