Without getting into a dissertation on the topic let me just refer you to why a single study is an inadequate way to refute finding, for a larger discussion of it see http://www.lyonsmorris.com/lyons/MetaAnalysis.htm. Secondly, mediaresearch.org also is not the most unbiased source. In fact their agenda presupposes bias right from the beginning, from their About page: -- The mission of the Media Research Center is to bring balance to the news media. Leaders of America's conservative movement have long believed that within the national news media a strident liberal bias existed that influenced the public's understanding of critical issues. On October 1, 1987, a group of young determined conservatives set out to not only prove â through sound scientific research â that liberal bias in the media does exist and undermines traditional American values, but also to neutralize its impact on the American political scene. What they launched that fall is the now acclaimed â Media Research Center (MRC). -- (http://www.mediaresearch.org/about/aboutwelcome.asp) Let me repeat what they said, "Leaders of America's conservative movement have long believed that within the national news media a strident liberal bias..." so you see the difference between something published in a scientific journal vs. a conservative setup group. MRC by their own admission starts with a conclusion then twists any research to support that conclusion. Personally I prefer real research to conservative shills. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:277063 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
