McCain picked Palin, a Christian Nationalist, to be his running mate in August. This is a move to the right; the Christian right. And he fired them up. And then he moved more to the Christian Right with rhetoric about terrorists, "real America", patriotism, and God. McCain only last week tried to tack back to the center last week with an anti-Bush populist message. His speech today railed on Republicans for corruption and mismanagement. But that's a tough argument to make when you supported Bush for the better part of a decade 90% of the time. It's kind of a I-was-dumb-then-but-I'm-smarter-today-trust-me argument. Nevertheless, McCain didn't try for the center until the very end of the campaign. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:277828 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
