alright fine, I think she is a fundamentalist because she attended an
Assemblies of God church, which is Pentecostal. She then switched to
the Wasilla Bible Church, which has been described as evangelical. I
looked at http://www.newsweek.com/id/156679/output/print to get the
church names.

Many of Palin's positions -- no abortion no matter what, opposition to
birth control for teens, abstinence education, opposition to
children's books that mention homesexuality -- mirror what are
frequently called fundamentalist or "Christian," though I dispute the
latter use of the word.

Do you not think she is a fundamentalist? Note -- in and of
themselves fundamentalist beliefs are not an issue for me. I know many
fine people who adhere to them. I begin to object when they are
imposed on me. I also think that many people who adhere to such
beliefs -- not all, but many -- are mysogynists, when you get right
down to it.

Have you read The Handmaid's Tale?
