Why is it when someone believes something different than yourself are they
labeled 'fanatic'? ( and this is a general question, not pointed at you
Larry, because I am guilty of it sometimes myself)

I have no issues with the last comment you attribute to her. She is not
saying she would stop your daughter, or any one else's daughter, she was
talking about her own child and what she believes. I see no more wrong with
that than someone who decries a woman has a right to choose Correct me if I
am wrong, but her daughter is still a minor, is she not? .
