What have you found wrong in 2008? I'm waiting for SBS 2008 since I have
people that want to upgrade to that. I don't understand this phased
releasing scheme they have come up with for the variations of 2008. I can't
believe the kernel is that different between versions. SBS is supposed to be
released on the 11th.

I am predicting that Windows suffers a slow death as a monolithic,
proprietary OS over the next decade or so. Apple saw Microsoft's problems
and went the open source route with BSD under the covers. Linux vendors,
especially Ubuntu, are finally getting serious about the desktop, and they
already have a good position in servers.

Meanwhile, have you seen Windows Server 2008? A client installed it on one
of their servers and asked me to deal with it. So far I'm not very keen on
it.
