Begich isn't conceding yet, btw. There are still more votes to be
counted and some irregularities to be investigated. I read that one
precinct, for instance, showed almost no votes for either Begich or
Stevens and showed all the votes for 2 independents. Likely some
screwed up machines there.

Regardless, Stevens could get together with William Jeffereson from LA
and form their own little Felons Caucus. Hopefully Jefferson will be
convicted soon and the House and Senate will decide not to seat either
of them (if Stevens wins).

Of course now I'm thinking that with Obama leaving the Senate and
Illinois having a crazy Governor that we are goin gto see a trend.
Blagojevich appoints himself to the Senate to avoid a tough reelection
(and possible indictment) and then Palin appoints herself to Steven's
seat to avoid a tough reelection and possible indictment. Then they
can have their crazy ex-governor caucus in the Senate :)
