Thanks for the props =)

I'm not too concerned with injuries but more that the team is burnt out
from all the hard hitting. The worst is probably when you play all these
physical games and loose. I heard winning cures all though.

Eli: Until last year the Eli trade looked horrible. SD got a QB, Shawn
'lights out' Merriman, and Nate Kaeding for Eli. Even with Rivers not
putting up the big numbers he did this year, committing such a high pick
on a QB and failing is a death sentence. Trading away a pro-bowl LB and
a serviceable QB (could have kept River or taken Big Ben) on top of that
is..well let's not think about it. Of course winning the SB made it all
worthwhile. The trade has now swung violently in favor for NY as they got
their SB, looks like they are making another SB run, and Merriman has a
very serious knee injury.

The Giants have drafted well. Remember all those pundits that questioned
why the Giants were drafting so many pass rushers? This year they should
draft OL though.

First of all, let me say how nice it is to have Won back on the
list....loves me some educated sports talk :)

While injuries are always a concern for every competing team, from what
I've
seen from the Giants, they are better prepared to handle it should one of
their front line guys go down. When Derrick Ward comes in for Brandon
Jacobs, I don't see much of a drop off at all. When Plax was out with his
issues, they played their best game of the year. When gap-tooth retired,
their other D ends stepped up and their pass rush may be even BETTER this
year.

I still think your question mark is at QB, in spite of his performance in
the playoffs last year. Where's the Eli we all loved to hate? I'm still
adjusting to a world where BOTH Manning's have a Lombardi Trophy *bleck*
