I just bought a Manning. Gave my mom my old Shockey. I wanted one that met the same criteria as you. Toomer will retire a Giant (he'd better), and as much as I respect the guy, I'd like to be wearing one for a player who will be playing for the foreseeable future. Not sure how many years Toomer's got left. Plax... I have lost all respect for this season. Before the season started, when he was "renegotiating", I was pretty vocal about giving him the $. I *hate* contract renegotiations before a contract is up. Hate it with a passion. But Plax was a warrior last year and played over and above what was asked of him (given his injury, he'd have been justified in sitting). But after everything that's come to light (fined over $200k between the league and the giants?)... and given how well we played in Seattle without him (yeah, I know... it was a weak Seattle team this year), I'm inclined not want him around so much anymore. Ended up with the Manning jersey (just got it last week) 'cuz I saw one on ebay pretty cheap, and threw a bid up there not thinking i'd win. Couple of days later, got the "congratulations, you won" email. Ended up being $50 shipped. -- I have failed as much as I have succeeded. But I love my life. I love my wife.
