I agree that it was wrong to seize legally owned private arms (though determining legal ownership during the emergency might have been tough). I'm curious though about temporary government suspension of constitutional rights during time of emergency. I'm pretty dead set against it, but there is obvious precedence in the suspension of habeas corpus during national emergency. I'm in favor of supporting *all* constitutional rights during time of emergency, both the 2nd amendment and habeas corpus.
