Let's look at the policies I said I'd like to see happen (and apologies for giving one without the other). Smaller government Lower taxes Safe Borders while allowing our country to grow legally Encouraging domestic business growth Encouraging medial research in all directions (with the exception of cloning and expanding the lines of embryonic stem cells already available) State's Rights Parent's Rights > Because if it's not just a fun identity you should, iIn simple plain > language - 3 bullets or five bullets - be able to tell me your > principles as a conservative; in other words, on what framework do you > base your policy positions? I base what I'd like to see in our government on the concepts of free but fair trade and the concept of "give a man a fish, feed him once; teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime." I'm not ashamed to say that religious views do color my political views and I don't see why they should not. That said, I'm not every conservative. There are different "types" of conservatives, which is why I included the link to the page that I did. I fall in under both the social and fiscal conservative lines by their definitions.
