I once took care of a woman who supposed to be cared for by her daughter, but was neglected. Her daughter went away for a long weekend and her mother fell out of bed and the daughter's 2 ferrets 'mauled' her. There were over 1500 separate bite marks on the woman's body. We did not know what to make of them at first until one of the cops at the house saw one of them run under a bed.
BTW - While not as dangerous as Sgt Sorge, in my time as a paramedic I was shot at more times than I care to remember, and I spent a couple of years as a tactical medic working with one of the State Police SWAT teams. I was even part of a few raids where we were 'in the stack' with the SWAT guys. All the raids I was on were uneventful, except for the one where the SWAT guys had to shoot a dog because the bad guy ordered him to attack us. Never saw a State Trooper cry until that night. I swear he would have been less upset if he had to shoot the bad guy.
