One of the worst calls (emotionally) was an accident caused by a drunk driver. The drunk ran a red light it and killed the driver of the other vehicle. My partner went to the vehicle with the person who had died, I was stuck with the drunk guy. As we were loading the drunk into the ambulance, my partner told me the other person was drunk. As we headed towards the hospital I looked out the window at the other vehicle and recognized the vanity license plate as being a friend of mine. She was actually on her way to the hospital to bring me some dinner.
The drunk was belligerent, blaming he accident on my friend and called her names that would make a trucker blush. That is the closest I have ever come to actually wanting to kill someone.
