Loving and sweet but lower maintenance, a rat is a GREAT pet. And they only live 2-4 years - so no problems with teenagers forgetting to feed etc. My very first pet as a kid was a lab rat stolen from the Drexel University psych laboratory. He was by far the most affectionate and fun of all our small pets. They are also sturdy if dropped (not a big ten year old concern but...) and very smart. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stephenie Hamilton" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Community" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, April 16, 2002 12:55 PM Subject: RE: new web cam > They sound like wonderful pets.
