Some people have a genetic predisposition to violent, aggressive behavior. Some people get a rush from hurting others. Clinical tests have demonstrated the phenomena and even isolated some of the genetic markers that seem to be involved. Eliminating borders will do nothing to eliminate the threat posed by people like that. They don't want to share the bounty of the earth, they want to take it for themselves and subjugate everyone else.
