Marijuana is the largest cash crop in a couple of states, Kentucky
being one.   Can't remember the other one.

I've seen stats that say legalizing and taxing marijuana sales at the
same tax rate as tobacco would allow the US to balance the budget in
five years from the proceeds.  Plus it would eliminate the need to pay
enforcement and prison costs.
