i think that the presence of such dire straits in our economy and overall
footing in the world, requires him to stoop.  leverage leveraged by opponents
is a mothfnckr... especially in the most trying of times.

stooping is required at this point. sadly.  politics will probably be,
as politics
have always been... hopefully, we can navigate the quagmire we are in, and end
up at the end with goodness all around. and then hopefully his final 4 years
he can really do the things he wants to do.  as i really believe his
time will be
spent, in these first four years, cleaning up the proverbial mess. maybe even
into term 2.

wow, we are like severely fnckd if things dont change soon.  it aint
gettin no easier
