Centrist is the last thing I want him to be right now. Good Gods, save us from fucking mediocrity right now. At some point in history, maybe centrist would be good. But the "center" has been pulled so far over into lala fascist jebus land that I want the "protect us from the brown people" wall built right around the minority caucus in Washington.
Obama has tried extending a hand and doing the bipartisanship thing. Noble of him and probably good PR. But governing with certifiable nutjobs...well...inmates running the asylum is bad enough but they barely qualify as monkeys flinging their shit against the wall.
