I liked Stephen Jay Gould's stuff about skull measuring and whatnot. Did you watch the Nova special on Race? Look, I'm all for free speech, but it appears pretty common-sense-ish, that context is key. I don't think that the majority of people are thinkers (woe there, horsie), so you gotta phrase things in ways that don't encourage stupidity.
