Frankly a plague on both houses. In both cases they are letting their ideology 
drive their research rather than the opposite. Its piss poor research in the 
end.

Besides look at the data from the really large datasets like the NORC 2000 and 
beyond longitudinal study where ethnicity and race were measured as part of the 
study. In most analyses of the data I've seen racial and ethnic factors are so 
intertwined with socio-economic status that any conclusions about race cannot 
be reasonably made. Moreover there are quite a few research studies that show 
within group variation on intelligence is much larger than any between group 
variation when it comes to racial factors. 

So as far as I can see its just intellectual masturbation.
