Wouldn't it be nice if we could part ways with this "party" bullshit? I mean really, who the hell believes in *every* principle of either party? I'd say a very very small portion of the population. The rest of us all lie somewhere in the middle, which is a sign of a healthy group of people, IMO.
But, I guess that money is the real issue here. You choose the party that best conveys the majority of your interests, you donate to them, and they produce the man or woman who they think will win the majority of the voters over to their side. Wait four years, rinse, repeat. Just wish there was a "start over" button that we could hit that would erase this dual-party BS mentality that we all have adopted from our minds. Not to get all Denstar-like here (much love, Denny), but wouldn't that just be the coolest? And before anyone asks, no, I haven't been puffin'. Haven't for two plus years now. Just got all philosophical after watching Bill Maher tonight. =) On Feb 26, 2009, at 10:52 PM, Robert Munn wrote: > > The Republican Party needs to attract people of color, otherwise the > demographics will consign them to the party of opposition. > > On Thu, Feb 26, 2009 at 8:37 PM, Gruss wrote: > >> >> The author (AEI author) empirically shows how Republicans are now 76% >> evangelicals. >> > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:289966 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
