As I said, this year's deficit is largely what he inherited - though he and Congressional Democrats are responsible for the stimulus bill and the new spending bill. Next year and beyond is up to him - and Congress, of course, but Democrats have very nearly an unassailable majority in Congress at the moment, as they have so clearly demonstrated.
He owns those future deficits. $800 billion stimulus. $650 billion health care downpayment. Higher taxes. Billions more for banks, autos, etc. etc. etc. All driven by Obama and the Democratic Congress. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/27/us/politics/27web-budget.html On Fri, Feb 27, 2009 at 5:53 PM, Vivec wrote: > > Really? > > So Obama created 6 trillion dollars in debt in his first 30 days of office? > Then that's fantastic!
