That's what I was wondering, and from LRS Scout's posts, that seems to be what we are doing now. I'm not trying to find a reason to whack the President, the wording of the headline just gave me the impression that the Administration was considering negotiating with the Taliban. If they are trying to peel off local tribes and bring them under the umbrella of the government, that's great.
