I know a lot of people who voted for Obama and are now very nervous about the direction the Democrats are taking the country. He looks like a Wall Street guy and that's how people would see him- not good. Palin is not an idiot, that's just a leftover smear from the campaign. She's not a genius, either, but genius is hardly what we need in leadership. We need good judgment. Does she have it? She was ill-prepared for the campaign, I'll give her a few years to see how she does. And no, I'm not interested in debating "she's an idiot, no she's not", so leave it alone. Jindal is sharp, but he might as well have tattooed "weenie" on his forehead after that speech he gave. Gingrich is a technocrat, not an executive, if you ask me. All this goes back to the basic problem- the Evangelicals controlling the party and pushing out anyone who doesn't pass the litmus test. As I've said before, I have considered running for office, but who wants to do that when the gauntlet you have to run is so ridiculous? The whole 50's "Father Knows Best" picture of Republican leadership needs to end. Vitter, Craig, Gingrich, etc. showed us that, the Evangelicals just don't want to accept it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:291884 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
