Let's use different words to see if we can blast through your mental barrier:

"an average city girl"

How's that?  Let's try a new sentence:

In America, you can grow an average city girl and rise to meet the
Queen the England as a leader of State for your country before you're
50.

Now, tell me another country in the World where that's possible in
*normal* circumstances.  There isn't one.  Not Europe, not Asia ...
maybe Canada, but I don't know.

The message is, any average girl or boy who works hard can become
anything they want in America.

Does the wording change help you see the point more clearly
