I'm trying to lay off the judgment, trying to understand what it is like to be in his shoes. But Erika, re-read the post. The dogs are not being shot for any purpose other than displacing anger and frustration. Not for any useful purpose like thinning the herd or making life safer for anyone.
I'm finding it hard to condone this myself, no matter what it is done "in the name of". What if soldiers were killing Iraqi babies because they were stressed out? Would that be condonable?
