Without any quantifiable data, I would say that, overall, both the extreme
left and extreme right are equally hypocritical. Sorry, but when you get
close to teh extremes on either side common sense just gest tossd out the
window and they are so blinded y their own beliefs they cannot see the
hypocrisy.

That being said, I carefully chose the words I used.  I consider myself a
'centrist' - some might say more libertarian.  Some views I have lean the
conservative way, some the liberal way. I do not thnk all Democrats are the
tree hugging nut jobs, nor do I think all Republicans are Bible-thumping nut
jobs.  I have NEVER voted down party lines - I do not think the Democrat
will always be the best person for the job nor do I think the Republican
will always be the best person for the job. My point with all this drivel is
that when you sit closer to the middle, you can see how evenly the hypocrisy
is distributed from the far sides.
