There is documented evidence that the people coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan are having difficulty reintegrating into society. There is a relatively large number of cases of mental illness. There is an acknowledged lack of treatment and help available to them. Damn straight we should be concerned. As for it being racial, I'm going to guess that there are fewer mentally unbalanced black folks coming back being recruited by white pride groups, yeah. On the other hand, if McCain had won, I'd be willing to bet that we'd see worries over mentally unbalanced black dudes coming back from the war and being recruited by the Black Panthers. And yes, I'd support worrying about that.
