i'm actually going to borrow phils argument here

what about noah's flood?
the plague of eygpt?

he decided to step in then and enforce his will, slaughtering thousands
including every first born child, were those people free? Was that not the
actions of a dictator?

so sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't. But then again he's God and can
do what he likes, right. Sometimes we're slaves, sometimes we're as free as
birds. If there was some logic to when he interviened and when he doesn't
(apart from the times he interviened there is absolutely no proof), I might,
might believe that argument.

If God didn't allow it to happen, then he wouldn't be God, would he. He'd be
a dictator and we'd all be his slaves instead of free, loved and loving
beings.
