Well, something like 55% of people say they're taxed the right amount,
so it's probably going to be hard to find people that think the system
is broken enough to bother fixing.

Frankly I think tax problems are purely a symptom.

At the end of the day HOW you collect money from people isn't going to
matter much; all the various schemes are going to have trade-offs.

The much larger priority is HOW MUCH you collect based on WHAT you spend it on.

No tax collection system will fix the problem of lobbyist driven
special interest agendas.

So, really, all changing the system would do at this point is change
the side of the head you're getting hit on.
