Beth, you need a wireless access point. That is your transmitter unit. Then you need a separate card for each computer. They can be the same brand of card. A PCI card is an expansion card.
As for the remaining cables, you'll only need them if you're treating the access point like a hub and need to link to other computers without the wireless networking card. larry -- Larry C.
