However, the use of the word (which in fact isn't a word) "irregardless" actually expresses the opposite of your intent. Irregardless would indicate that there _is_ regard, whereas you were trying to express a lack of regard. I know it's a fairly common misuse of the word regardless, but it's just bad bad bad. I can't not be bothered by it. *wink*
