Take a look here:
http://www.cwc.co.nz/sandbox/salisbury/

I've made a couple of minor adjustments (like the placement of the boys
and thank you images - it just felt more balanced to me, but there are
comments in the style sheet to reset).

For the moment I've replicated most of the current site so the
navigation still lives at the bottom.

Note the file sizes (you did have a couple of whoppers in there, one
being bg-main.jpg) and source code. Hopefully you will see how it all
kinda "makes sense" with respect to the ID and class names, and how
there isn't too much extra code (mind you, those pods did take a little
bit of work). All that javascript on the rollovers is gone!

Now, I know a couple of things are different that you may want to change
(like the rounded corners on the bottom of the pods that I just
noticed!). If you REALLY REALLY must have that, let me know. Same goes
with the mouseover on the nav - I used a border because it's quick and easy.

Caveat: NOT stringently tested yet as I've only spent a few hours on it,
but it's ok in IE6 (yes, a miracle!! I still design for IE6), IE7,
Firefox 3, & Opera 10 on XP so it shouldn't be too far off the mark in
the rest. IIRC you are on a Mac, but that shouldn't matter. If it's not
quite right on your browser of choice that's no problem either as
everything can be fixed. If you want to use it (you better *want* to
buddy!) I am more than happy to convert one of those other pages with a
sidebar.

Let me know what you think.

Mark
