WHAT???

A Jeep Grand Cherokee, even though I don't particularly like them (I
drive an Oldsmobile Bravada), are by no means the worse choice he/she
could make. Be grateful they aren't driving a Ford Excursion, or a
Lincoln Navigator. Now there's a couple of resource hogs.

This may be an interesting debate, but it's a tiresome one. People like
their big vehicles, and there isn't much in our lifetime that's going to
change their minds. It'll probably take a few more generations to come
round full circle.

It's interesting over here in the UK where almost ALL the cars are tiny
.. And of course the Smart Car is popular as well. But Europe has tiny
roads, and gas is extravagant.

So people buy small cars and/or commute to work via train/bus.

America is VAST and gas is cheap. Families are big, traveling is fun,
people like big cars and trucks. Ahh, the freedom of choice.

I'm sorry I drive a big SUV, but I love my SUV. :)
