Given that the Cantrell side of my family originates from the
Virginia/Tennessee hills as far back as the settlers, and that Blu Cantrell
appears to be of African-American descent - I'll let you draw your own
conclusions on how we might be related. But no, she's not in my immediate
family. I usually get asked if I'm related to Jerry Cantrell, guitar player
for Alice In Chains before their lead singer fell to drugs. I don't care
much for Blu Cantrell, nor any artist whose sole focus is bragging about
material possessions.
