Maybe you should consider a vehicle that's shocks need not support 4000lbs
of steel. And at 16Mpg, you're definitely not supporting our great president
in reducing our dependency on foreign oil.

Other reasons for considering a "down-grade":

Reduce traffic (which reduces urban sprawl (which reduces the human
footprint on our overly-crowded earth)).
Reduce pollution; I've yet to meet a person that doesn't enjoy breathing.
Reduce taxes/tolls - more weight/bigger tires on the pavement requires more
tax-funded resources to fix it.

Sorry, I know this is coming from a lurker - but I try to hop in when I get
the time or if the topic is interesting.
