Thanks Deanna, that's awesome that you do that. Just 2 weekends ago
we drove down to Kansas to pick up a new rescue dog for my mom. He'd
come from a breeder, gone to a pet store (who couldn't sell him due to
the economy), gone to a foster home, back to the rescue, and now to my
mom!

He's a white scotty and it's amazing he's a rescue, albeit one with an
easier life.

Previous to that my mom had adopted a 10 year old who'd been abused
his whole life and had been chained to a grate in the sun and left to
die. The rescue operator had found him on his last legs when she
stopped at roadside stand to buy flowers - she heard his howls.

Anyway, he turned into a great dog for the few years he had left, but
he passed away and it was time for my mom to get a dog that was a
little easier so we got the white scotty - he's awesome!
