Today is my son's "moving up" day at his school, though he won't be moving up until this fall. Since my wife has a doctor's appointment this morning I took the day off to get the kids on the bus. Yes, I could have taken a few hours off and worked this afternoon but hey, it's Friday and I've gone for a long time without a real day off! I just got my daughter (just turned 7 two days ago) on the bus and now have to wrangle my son into getting dressed and fed and on his bus at 10:30 or so. Tonight the in-laws are talking about keeping both kids so it might be date night! If the weather holds, the drive-in is showing Up and Star Trek as a double feature. I've fed the kids but haven't eaten breakfast yet, maybe some rice chex in a bit. I'm dressed but not in what I'm going to wear for the rest of the day... the slippers wouldn't go over well. As for jokes, I heard one that is political in nature but I'll go ahead and share it: Obama recently announced a 40% tax on aspirin.
