I had a little checklist when choosing my ride: 1, Hold four people comfortable- including me and I ain't small 2, Reasonable amount of cargo room 3, Go in the snow and other bad weather 4, Off-road/mud capability 5, Tow a boat or other trailer 6, 6 Cylinder
I have had three different ones, an 89 Jimmy, and 93 Cherokee, and my current 98 Grand Cherokee. My first two left because they were totaled, only one was my fault though, the one that wasn't I was hit head on by a Saturn, it was snowy, I had traction and she didn't, which confirmed number 3. Safety wise, the stats always show an SUV against a solid wall, hint, the wall will win everytime. Against a sedan, the SUV will do better, which was the case in all three of my accidents. As far as getting chicks, I already had one when I got my first car, and have kept her ever sense, but she does like my Jeep, and now she wants one of here own. She currently drives a 98 Fire bird.
