Old argument. You can say ethnic group then. I guess race is only used when it's a color (white, black, red, yellow, green). But the point is the same. A group of people (Jews) are being told that they can't live in a location that they legally own because it's seen as being the territory of another group (Arabs). But the other group (Arabs) can live in a location that it bought from the first group (Jews). What's ok for group B (Arabs) is not ok for group A (Jews). So we come to the basics of "no Jews allowed" and a policy of the American government to not only prevent Jews from entertaining the same rights as others in this regard but also making demands on a sovereign nation that was it's staunchest ally. Way to go Obama diplomacy. But, as the article said, he's talked to everyone BUT the Israelis. But he has talked to a bunch of left wing Jews in America and he assumes its the same thing. Even the editor of the leftest newspaper in Israel has called him on this.
