Yeah, one of the reasons why I'd cut the tie between employers and
group coverage.  If employers wanted to contribute tax-free to an HRA,
that's great, but the plan should be independent of employers.

It's why I think this whole "public option" is like an idiot bizarro world idea.

We already have a "public option": it's called medicaid and medicare.
So just expand eligibility if that's the genius answer.

I mean here the problem is complicated mess or constituents with
misaligned incentives and the answer is another constituent?
