Is there some magic "send whatever is on Glenn Beck's show and post to all of my lists" button built into people's remotes?
Do I think that was harsh? No. Do I think that was funny? Yes. Would I have minded if a member of the Bush team had said it. No. (I would have loved it - showing they were capable of going "off-script", and had a sense of humor). Do I think it was pandering to the crowd? yes. We need more of that in politics. (That is not mad or mean to me, that was funny and frustrated.) As they say "Many a truth is told in jest". Are most Republican legislators a-holes? yes. Are most Democratic legislators a-holes? yes. Are most top professional athletes a-holes? yes. Are most top business leaders a-holes? yes. I loved it.
